Comedienne and storyteller Pat Spalding will present two new stories, Genevieve Aichele and Peter Motson – accompanied by Gail Adams on piano – will sing a medley of midwinter love songs, from show tunes to jazz to light classical pieces, and clarinetist Karen Johnson will perform both solo and accompanying all the other performers. "Baby, It's Cold Outside" may just be what you need to warm your soul in the February chill.
June 11 - 13, 2004 – Resurrection
"Resurrection," will herald the coming of spring with three pieces of original stories, poetry, and music exploring the themes of transformation and rebirth. The title piece is a new work by theater artist Aichele, combining monologues and songs about faith, despair, sacrifice and redemption. Poet Lysa James presents new works dealing with life in exile, interplaying visual images and poetry. Writer/photographer Sofia Piel combines music, multi-media and the spoken word in a journey through light and black, struggle and hope. "Resurrection" will also feature original music by Jose Duque and Jeff Fritz.
