Robin Fowler is a freelance actor, director, writer, teacher, and improviser from Portsmouth, NH. Some memorable roles include Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night and Stage Manager in Six Characters in Search of an Author at New Hampshire Theatre Project, and  Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing at Prescott Park Arts Festival He is a resident artist at NHTP where he also directs the Senior Youth Repertory Company. Through NHTP, Robin has worked on several in-school residencies in York, ME, Amesbury, MA, and Nashua, NH.  He recently stage managed the touring production of Dreaming Again in fall 2013, which toured schools throughout NH in conjunction with the Mariposa Museum. Robin spends a great deal of time playing with improvisational theatre, both comedic and dramatic. He runs improv workshops for adults and teens at NHTP and performs comedy improv monthly at Seacoast Repertory Theatre with Dorks in Dungeons LIVE. With Dorks in Dungeons fantasy based long-form improv show he has performed on the stage of ImprovBoston and in rooms at comic book and gaming conventions from Indiana (GenCon) to Nova Scotia (HalCon) and many in between (PortCon, TotalCon, GraniteCon and others!). Working as a company member of PowerPlay and advisor for social change theatre troupe WildACTS, Robin has also tackled heavier issues through improv. PowerPlay is a group on the cutting edge of playback theater that uses improv as a tool for problem solving in communities and businesses while WildACTs is UNH’s social justice oriented theatre group. Recently he spent a month performing sketch comedy at the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland with five other very talented comedians in Darwin’s Waiting Room. Currently Robin splits his time between his role as Assistant Manager of the Box Office at Seacoast Repertory Theatre and his many roles within New Hampshire Theatre Project. Email Robin:
