Michael is the founder of Portsmouth Financial Systems and Trovo LLC.  He has also spent many years contributing to progressive theatre for young actors. All three of his sons appeared on stage with New Hampshire Theatre Project  The youngest, Leo, inspired him to write for that stage. Michael’s goal is to stress technique, support an ensemble cast, and make material accessible to young actors without diluting its message.  His two plays for the NHTP Youth Repertory Company, Galileo's Pendulum and The Sheriff of Nottingham, are featured at Leicester Bay Theatricals.  

Michael believes that NHTP uses theatre as the vehicle to invite artists, an audience, and the community to discover something in themselves and each other. The stage at WEST is a unique, safe place where students find their voice through acting. It's a great credit to NHTP that students remain involved in the program for years – sometimes decades – and that so many remain involved in the process of theatre. Michael knows that NHTP is unique, and feels lucky to be able to participate.
