We Don't Know What This Is Yet: From Pandemic to Provocative Theatre

NHTP Company Artist Kolby Hume is a teacher, theatre educator, and performer based on the Seacoast. She is a Social Studies teacher at Coe-Brown Northwood Academy by day, and works with Coe-Brown's Theatre Company as a director, choreographer, and movement coach after school hours. Kolby has also been on the board of the New Hampshire Educational Theatre Guild since 2018. She is grateful to have the opportunity to teach and learn from her students, and share her love of storytelling. Kolby first performed at NHTP as Aphrodite/Ensemble in Metamorphoses, and has since been seen as a member of the ensemble in The Time Machine, and Andrew Hall in Men on Boats. Other favorite roles include Beth in A Lie of the Mind, and Rosignol in Marat/Sade at the Player's Ring.

New Hampshire Theatre Project's commitment to telling exceptional stories that challenge their audiences, and their willingness to reach out and engage the community are two of the company’s greatest strengths. Kolby is humbled to be a part of this group of performers, and happy to continue to work to support the NHTP mission.
