Heather Glenn Wixson is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she trained with Stella Adler and David Mamet.  Along with appearing in many NHTP mainstage productions, she has performed  principle roles at LaMama, BCA Theatre, WHAT, Lyric Stage, Huntington Theatre, LA Public Theatre, Penobscot Theatre, Rochester Opera House and will make her debut at Hackmatack Playhouse this summer. Heather is Co-Artistic Director of Threshold Stage Company in Kittery, ME. She has extensive on-camera and radio credits including principle work for HBO, NPR, and many national/regional commercials. Awards include an Eliot Norton Award for Best Play (Speed-the-Plow, Lyric Stage Boston) and Spotlight Awards for Best Director and Best Play (Glengarry Glen Ross- Rochester Opera House).  Heather served as the Head of the Theatre Department at Commonwealth School  and lead Artist-in-Residence at The Wang Center where she created theatre with teens and adults in schools, community centers, and prisons throughout the Greater Boston area.  Her most recent role with New Hampshire Theatre Project was Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible.
