provides a welcoming environment for youth, artists, and community members to
experience self-discovery and growth through the art and process of theatre.
Sebastian has been a member of the NHTP Youth Repertory Company since 2013. He played Robin Hood in The Sheriff of Nottingham, Officer Klein in Arsenic & Old Lace, Dudard in Rhinoceros, Camillo & Cleomenes in The Winter's Tale, Phelim O'Shaughnessy in Is He Dead? and Jack Worthing in The Importance of Being Earnest. He also appeared in a number of Scene Study and Teen Theatre Camp performances. Sebastian will be attending Dartmouth College pursuing a Bachelors of Engineering degree, modified with Studio Art. NHTP, most importantly for me, is a place completely free of constraints on experimentation and improvisation. NHTP has been the only environment I have experienced where I have felt like everybody is totally open with each other and content and comfortable with owning who they really are. It’s somewhat contradictory, but I think that in a sense, actors at NHTP are able to do what they do because they strip away any facades and guises of everyday life, and build true characters from their base selves, and I have been honored to perform next to people who are so true to themselves.
