provides a welcoming environment for youth, artists, and community members to
experience self-discovery and growth through the art and process of theatre.
Ella began her career with NHTP as a youngster in Story Theatre Camp, and then returned to join the Youth Repertory Company in 2015. She played the heroic suffragette Alice Paul in Well-Behaved Women and the Director in Stage Kiss, as well as Madame Bathilde and the Sultan of Turkey in Is He Dead? Ella also co-wrote an original play, The New Abnormal, with NHTP's Teen Playwriting Intensive and, in 2017, she was appointed the first Youth Poet Laureate for the state of New Hampshire. Ella will attend Bard College next year, studying written word and international studies along with pursuing theatre. The most important things I will take away from NHTP are the best moments of my high school experience, a reminder to never shy from fun, and the lesson that story is what lights me up.
