NHTP 2023-2024 Season Preview

Voicing Our Values

September 16, 2020

New Hampshire Theatre Project consists of 4 staff members, 13 board members, 12 community advisors, 4 resident artists, 20 company artists, and community partners.

Together, with our audience, WE share values that guide our work.

During a series of strategic planning sessions between March and July with staff, board members, advisors and artists, we formalized the values that guide New Hampshire Theatre Project's work.  Ahead of our 2020-21 MainStage Season announcement next week, we are sharing the values that are the foundation of our program work and the ethos of NHTP and how we do business.

We uncover, explore, and tackle society's greatest challenges through theatrical experiences.

We commit to the craft of live theatre as a creative process for entertainment and transformation.

We know the experience of theatre is for everyone, so we build bridges between our work, individuals, and communities that champions equitable access for all.

We strive towards building a sustainable infrastructure that respectfully supports artists and audiences as they engage in our work.

We create welcoming space for joyous, provocative, and difficult conversations between artists and audiences.
