Honoring Veterans Day, New Hampshire Theatre Project is proud to present Curt Bessette and Jenn Kurtz in a loving tribute to veterans with both original and traditional songs from the World War II era as well as Korea, Vietnam, and contemporary conflicts.  Nostalgic songs include popular favorites like Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, White Cliffs of Dover, and Route 66, along with personal stories and historic chronicles.  Curt’s poignant original songs about his own father and other vets struggling with PTSD are juxtaposed with Jenn’s carefully researched stories about the roles of women in wartime.  Known for their exquisite vocal harmonies, Curt Bessette and Jenn Kurtz have presented A Few Seconds with Our Fathers & Mothers throughout New England.  The Aviation Museum of New Hampshire calls the show “A heart warming presentation.  We are still in awe of your wonderful program.”

Curt Bessette is an award-winning songwriter and guitarist who has performed across the USA, and teaches guitar in Portsmouth NH.  Jenn Kurtz is a respected harmony singer from Olympia WA, with an extensive social service background working with members of the WWII generation.
