NHTP Covid-19 Protocols and FAQ'S

COVID-19 PATRON GUIDELINES AND

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

New Hampshire Theatre Project is following guidelines agreed to by all theaters in the NH Professional Theatre Association, along with city and state recommendations.

What do I need to know about attending an in-person production at NTHP this summer?

  • Tickets must be purchased on our website. Advance sales only; no tickets will be available at the door.

  • All programming is outdoors this summer, under a tent in the NHTP parking lot. We are grateful to Portsmouth Music & Arts Center for sharing their tent with us.

  • All seats will be placed 3-feet apart, and adjusted for audience groupings as needed.

  • Since the programs are outdoors, masks are optional (although recommended if you are unvaccinated). However, if you go inside the theater to use the rest rooms or any other reason, you will be required to wear a mask.

  • Please feel free to bring your own water bottle. Other refreshments will not be allowed under the tent. Please visit our neighboring brewery Loaded Question before or after the program :-)

  • Please keep all personal belongings with you at all times.

  • No concessions will be provided.

  • Rest rooms will be open in the theatre but we ask that you not stand in line; the House Manager will assist you (and remember, you'll need your mask).

What are we doing to keep patrons safe?

  • We are following guidance from the city of Portsmouth, state of New Hampshire and the NH Professional Theatre Association.

  • We’ve upgraded our HVAC system with Merv-13 air filters.

  • The theater will be professionally cleaned before each production, and also cleaned thoroughly between performances. All common surfaces, including seats, will be cleaned between performances.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available to patrons at all times.

  • We will be reassessing often and adjusting protocols as needed.

What if I am not able to attend on the night of the performance?

  • Online ticket purchases are not refundable but can sometimes be transferred to a different performance. Please leave a message at 603-431-6644.
