This Artist-in-Residence program brings New Hampshire Theatre Project Company Artists to your students learning environment in order to process the emotions and experiences caused by the CoronaVirus Pandemic of 2020.

Students will use the theatrical arts as reflection, expression, connection and critique of their experiences.  Students will learn the key steps to the creative process, and apply that to the making of their own theatrical work, across the disciplines of stage design, writing, directing and performing

The creative process is a powerful tool for self-expression, and empathy with others and is used as a framework for learning during this three-week residency. This residency fulfills the multiple needs of the student, by achieving curriculum guidelines and teaching applicable 21st century skills in critical thinking, creative problem solving, collaboration and verbal, written and physical communication.

This is a 15-day residency, at two hours a day contact time with the Teaching Artists. It is New Hampshire Theatre Project's model that Teaching Artists co-facilitate sessions in order to model collaboration, communication skills and creative thinking in multiple styles.
