For serious students interested in both personal growth and learning about the fundamentals and power of theatre, NHTP’s Youth Repertory Company emphasizes the ensemble aspects of performance as well as the process of exploring theatre as a craft, focusing on technique and collaboration rather than “spectacle.”  The fall session emphasizes acting techniques and script analysis with classical and contemporary scripts; participants perform a final recital of short scenes and monologues.  For the winter session, the Company will present a devised work of scenes, sketches, movement pieces and vignettes derived from improv around themes of specific interest to contemporary youth.   Participation in the NHTP Youth Repertory Company requires an interview with both student and parent(s).  For information, please contact New Hampshire Theatre Project or call 603-431-6644 ext. 4.
