Van Wile began his career with New Hampshire Theatre Project playing Pecos Bill when he was 8 years old in Story Theatre Camp. He has been a member of the NHTP Youth Repertory Company since 2011. Some of Van's most memorable roles were Jonathan Brewster in Arsenic & Old Lace, Jean in Rhinoceros, Florizel in The Winter's Tale, and Papa Leroux in Is He Dead? He also appeared as the Younger Son in the NHTP MainStage production of Six Characters in Search of an Author, and interned as a directing assistant for The Crucible. Van has interned for several years with the Junior Repertory Company, learning the craft of stage management as well as running sound and lights. He will be attending Keene State College next year, with a major in Film Studies and a minor in Woodworking. The most important thing I will take away from NHTP is the sense of community and family.
