New Hampshire Theatre Project has conducted Artist-in-Residence programs throughout northern New England since our inception in 1988. Programs include touring productions, master classes, professional development workshops for teachers, and one-day to one-month AIR programs for Grades K-12. NHTP residencies are custom-designed to incorporate a variety of different curriculum topics and educational standards. Sample themes: Language Arts (public speaking, storytelling, playwriting, readers' theatre, literary interpretation); Social Studies (world myths & cultures, docu-drama, peer theatre, living history) and STEAM (exploring science, math and environmental issues through drama). Samples of recent AIR programs: Stratham Memorial School, LIttle Harbour School, High Mowing School, Amesbury Middle School, New Boston School, Conval High School, Nashua North & South High School, and Holderness Central School.
